1965 Convertible Corvette sold new at Mahlon Maxton Chevrolet in Worthington, Ohio and originally was a 327 350hp 4 speed with 3.70 rear end gear ration. The engine is a 1968 Chevelle 327 275hp MT HD Clutch that was recently rebuilt. The transmission is the factory original M20 wide ratio with a hurst shifter and linkage attached to a truck style bellhousing. The car was recently painted and all the exterior chrome, bumpers, headlights, and decklid were removed to complete the body work before painting. All original panels and no signs of body work or accidents were found during the painting process which was completed a month ago. Frame and Birdcage are in great shape with no rust!
This is a nice driver Corvette but will need the following items to be a show car!
Headlight Motors (None) Front Bumpers (Need chrome) Hubcaps (Dented and road rash) Weather Stripping (Missing) Convertible Top (Worn and faded) Seat Covers (Drivers side torn) Rear Bumpers (Trailer Hitch Holes) Taillight Bezels (Pitted) Dash Gauges (Only oil pressure and water temp working) Clock (Not working) Air Cleaner (1966) Shifter (Hurst) Drivers side door panel (Torn) Exhaust Manifolds (Weld repairs) Glovebox door (Dent) Front Bumper Brackets (Missing) Jack (Missing) Radio (Not working)
